(i)Movement
(ii)nutrition
(iii)respiration
(1aii)
(i)Movement is the ability of an organism to move its own whole body or part of its body from one place to another
(ii)nutrition is defined as the ability of living
organisms to feed. This is essential for
growth,respiration and production.
(iii)respiration is defined as the exchange of
gases between organisms take in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide.
(1b)
Pls Put this in a tabular form.
PLANTS:
(i)movement are restricted.
(ii)the cell are rigid.
(iii)they manufacture food with chlorophyll.
(iv)growth is not limited.
ANIMAL:
(i) they move in different ways
(ii) the cells are flexible
(iii)they depend on already made food
(iv) growth gradually comes to a stand still
(1ci)
Euglena
(1cii)
Animal features possess by euglena are;
(i)possession of flagellum for locomotion
(ii)possession of pellicle
(iii)possession of eye spot for response to light
(iv)presence of contractile vacuole for excretion
Plant features posses by euglena are;
(i)possession of chloroplast for photosynthesis
(ii)possession of pyrenoid
(iii) possession of cellwall,
(3a)
i.Biosphere is the zone of the earth occupied by living organisms. it is a layer of life which exists on the earth surface
ii. Habitat is defined as an area occupied by a biotic community i.e. habitat is any environment. in which an organism lives naturally e.g the habitat of the fish is water
(3b)Example of a canivorous plant is sundew
that possesses leaves capable of forming an
organ to trap and digest insects. the upper
surface of the leaf has a number of glandular or tentacles. The leaf surface is sticky as a result of disgestive gland in the plant the ends of the tentacles secrete enzymes capable of digesting insects caught the presence of an insect on the
leaf stimulates the leaf to fold over and turn all the tentacles inward.
(3c) (i) It helps to prevent overcrowding of plants
(ii) It results in colonization of new areas with new plants
(iii) it prevents diseases from spreading among plants species
(3d) Six Methods of Conserving soil
-By applying manure
-By avoiding bush burning
-Preventing over grazing
-Preventing Desforestation
-Adoption of better farming practise e.g crop
rotation
-BY avoiding soil erosion

(1f) i. It turns blue litmus paper red ii. It turns red litmus to red
(1g)Efflorescence are substances when exposed to the atmosphere, they lose their water of crystalization to the atmosphere.
(1h) (i.) It is used in making typewriter ribbon (ii.) for making shoe polish (iii.) For making carbon black  (1i) i. It is used for hardening of oil ii. It is used in breaking heavy hydrocarbon light fraction iii. It is used in producing esters for making soap
(1j) Recall, m= MQ/nF, where m= mass of sliver deposited. Ag^+ + e^- –> Ag n=1, m/M=No of moles = 10920/1*96500 m/M=No of moles = 0.113 moles. ==================== PLS NOTE THAT ^ MEANS RAISE TO POWER. ====================
(2ai) This can be defined as a substance formed when an element gains or looses election  (2aii) Isotopes: these are element that exist with the same at its first election, in the valence shell while aluminium while aluminium retains two hence magnesium will become more stable than aluminium.
(2bi) (I) 12Mg= 1S^22S^22p^63S^2 13AL= 1S^22S^22P^63S^23P^1
(II) This is because the first ionization energy increases across the period but decreases down the group
(2bii) Na2O,MgO, Al2O3
(2c) (1) Allotropes are atoms that exist in different forms but have the same physical state (ii)Diamond and Graphite (iii) -Diamond is used for making jeweleries - Graphite is used for making lead pencil

(3bi) water is a polar solvent which is an excellent solvent for electrovalent substances like NaCl but oil is non-polar which has little affinity for hydroxyl ion
(3bii) -as dehydrating agent -as an acid -as oxidizing agent
(3ci) oxygen and hydrogen chloride
(3cii.) I-NaOH II- because it is soluble in water.

(4aii) I. Nacl–> Na+ Cl- II. Alcl3–> Al^3+ cl- Al2O3–>Al^3+ O2-
(4aiii) This is because the reaction of sodium with water is very explosive and violent but that of aluminum is not
(4bi) This is because one substance is undergoing oxidation and another reduction at the same time.
(4bii) Cr2O7^-5 –> Cr^+2 Cl- –> Cl2.
